There are a number of reasons why people struggle to make a living online. Unless you get lucky (or fortunate) right off the bat you are going to have to work hard and scratch and claw your way to the point where you are making enough money from your Internet earnings to support yourself.
For most, it is a fantasy that they cannot achieve because of the amount of work. But do not be mistaken, it is not just about work. You need knowledge too. You will have to learn many things. Learning also requires work. There may also be a variety of other factors at play that can block you from making it. It is not always just about you or how hard you work! Keep that in mind too.
To complicate things even further, there are a great many people out there trying to make it sound much easier than it really is (for most people). They do this because they are selling products that make the promise (but usually don’t keep it) that you will make a lot of money.
I have bought many products from these people and they are not much different from each other. Sometimes the information is very old and even outdated. There is not much in any of those packages that you cannot read about for free or figure out for yourself. It is disappointing to say the least!
In case you were wondering, it does not matter if you pay $100 or $2,000 for a product! I have done both and I am telling you the only big difference is the price!
When buying software, you really should be careful not to buy “abandonware”. Many create software that they do not keep up-to-date! In the fast changing world of software and the Internet, you could very quickly be stuck with software that has lost its value and can no longer work. This is because it didn’t keep up with changes conditions and / or changing technology.
I have had the best luck with products that have an ongoing monthly fee. Because the people collecting that fee have a vested interest in keeping things going. However, you should be very selective when signing up for any service or membership. If you are not getting an ROI (Return on Investment) that is obvious and / or measurable to you, in short order, cancel the service as soon as you can.
As a business owner, you want to only spend your money on things that are helping you to make more money money than you are spending. If you are able to do that, then you are moving forward with your business! These are some insights that I have gleaned over the years.
Making a living online is not as easy as they would have you believe!
