The Chinese Government is Bad – But Not the Chinese People.

Chinese Authorities Secretly Moving Falun Gong Adherents Out of Beijing
Beijing-area detention facilities being stocked with “transformed” individuals ready to denounce Falun Gong in front of foreign media
11 Aug 2008

NEW YORK – The Falun Dafa Information Center has learned that Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities have moved genuine Falun Gong adherents out of Beijing-area prisons and labor camps, replacing them with individuals who claim to have renounced Falun Gong. The Center believes the move is meant to mislead foreign media, mirroring similar tactics used in the past.

On July 30th, the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) published Torture Outside the Olympic Village: A Guide to China’s Labor Camps (report), a detailed guide to detention facilities located within miles of Olympic venues. On August 3, the Center released a related report, A Journalist’s Walking Guide to the Persecution of Falun Gong in Beijing (report).

According to Center sources in China, immediately after the publication of these reports, the Chinese authorities began moving Falun Gong adherents out of Beijing. These sources say many adherents were moved to Shanxi Forced Labor Camp and Shanxi Women’s Forced Labor Camp, while some were sent to Inner Mongolia.

These sources also indicate the authorities are putting individuals who claim to have “renounced” Falun Gong into Beijing detention centers and prisons where they are typically treated very well and made available to foreign media who are investigating abuses against Falun Gong.

“They’re moving victims of torture and other abuses out of Beijing, and replacing them with individuals who parrot the CCP’s stance on Falun Gong,” says Center spokesperson Mr. Erping Zhang. “Think about it…they are preparing ‘show tours’ to pull the wool over the eyes of the international community. We trust journalists in Beijing won’t be taken in by these tactics.”

“Show tours” of this nature have been employed before by CCP authorities to thwart investigations of abuse against Falun Gong, and were previously forewarned by Center sources.

On April 26, 2001, the Falun Dafa Information Center reported that Masanjia Labor Camp in Liaoning Province was among a few facilities being readied to receive foreign and Chinese media to ‘interview’ selected Falun Gong practitioners.

Almost a month later reporters were invited to the Masanjia Labor Camp to witness freshly painted walls, prisoners decked out in new jump suits complete with their names written on the back in Chinese and English (it was not clear why prisoners needed their names written in English inside a Chinese labor camp), enjoying an apparently clean and healthy environment – all in stark contrast with the horrific abuses reported by dozens of individuals who had previously been held and tortured at Masanjia.

The Center urges media workers in Beijing to be cognizant of this tactic, and recommends the following steps to avoid being misled by the CCP:

Coordinate several groups of journalists to go to different camps at the same time, making it more difficult for the CCP to orchestrate a “show tour.”
Interview individuals recently released from labor camps in China, but currently residing overseas, including ones who witnessed similar foreign visits and measures taken by authorities prior to them. The Falun Dafa Information Center can provide the contact information for these individuals, as well as for family members of those currently being detained at Beijing camps and prisons.
Refer to third party reports about conditions experienced by Falun Gong adherents in custody, available on the Center’s website: U.S. State Department 2007 report, Amnesty International reports, reports by the United Nations Special Rapporteurs (reports), and the writings of Chinese attorney Gao Zhisheng (writings).

Background
Founded in 1999, the Falun Dafa Information Center is a New York-based organization that documents the rights violations of adherents of Falun Gong (or “Falun Dafa”) taking place in the People’s Republic of China. In July of 1999 China’s autocratic Communist Party launched an unlawful campaign of arrests, violence, and propaganda with the intent of “eradicating” the apolitical practice; it is believed certain leaders feared the influence of the practice’ 100 million adherents. The campaign has since grown in violence and scope, with millions having been detained or sent to forced labor camps. The Center has verified details of over 3,000 deaths and over 63,000 cases of torture in custody (reports / sources). Falun Gong is a traditional-style Buddhist “qigong” practice, with roots in the Chinese heritage of cultivating the mind/body for health and spiritual growth.

Olympic Spirit Shattered by Chinese Official’s Remarks

June 26, 2008 by Dave

At an official Olympic Torch ceremony, one of China’s leaders, while referring to Tibet said, “We can definitely smash the separatist plot of the Dalai Lama clique completely.”

Hardly in the spirit of uniting humanity for the Olympics, he probably feels that he did nothing wrong. After all, the communist party in China always gets its way, doesn’t it? This official was undoubtedly experiencing a self-righteous moment. Sixty years of documented history recounts the CCP’s (Chinese Communist Party’s) brutal rule over China. By crook or by hook, the CCP will carry the day. Or rather, they will try to do so.

Unfortunately, whenever you try to legitimize a mafia like organization, there will always be these ‘small’ and inconvenient slips. It happens.

You can put a wolf in a tuxedo and take him with you to a wedding. At the end of the day, he is still a wolf. Clothing, no matter how well made and regardless of how much was spent for the fabric does not change the skin of the one who wears it.

They will rely on the short lifespan of current event awareness to slip back into the cloak of anonymity regarding the antagonistic and brutality laden principles of the CCP. People will forget. They shouldn’t. The CCP nature hasn’t changed over the decades, but the clothing has.

Wether you consider the treatment and hostility towards the Dalai Lama or the persecution of Christians and Falun Gong practitioners in China, the essence of the CCP emerges.

There are many facts you can verify independently. For example: The Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989 really did happen. The persecution of Christians is documented. The most notable and well reported persecution is that of Falun Gong practitioners in China. You can find ample information about this persecution at Faluninfo.net Many reporters have exposed the treatment that petitioners, those who are attempting to exercise their legal right to appeal to the government, have received.

This social misstep of Olympic proportions simply serves to show the true nature of the Chinese Communist Party. Others have noticed it before and in depth. The website: ninecommentaries.com documents well the bloody history of the Chinese Communist Party. With this information it will be much easier to understand the Chinese government and the choices it makes.

It is also important to recognize that the CCP does not represent China or the Chinese people. With the exception of small villages or towns, CCP leadership is not voted in, they simply assume the right to rule. The Chinese Communist Party came to power through the barrel of a gun and they remain in power the same way. In addition, as has been well documented, they are willing to use brutality, labor camps and a whole host of torture techniques to insure the compliance of the population.

It is interesting to watch Chinese students as they come to the United States. If they take a good look around, they begin to understand the differences between the environment they grew up in and the freedoms that the United States has to offer. This difference is as vast as the distance between the Sun and the Earth. That is why many wish to stay here. Take a good look at the sources I mentioned above and you will develop a better understanding of the government of China which truly does not represent the people of China. I hope that China can become a free country some day. It would be better for the people of China and for the rest of the world.

Mutilations In Zimbabwe Reflect the Human Condition

June 25, 2008 by Dave

A recent CNN NEWS article refers to the violence over upcoming Zimbabwe elections to include the hands of opposition supporters being chopped off in order to discourage them from voting. Many more were beaten and displaced according to the article.

I would like to suggest that this is a sad day. But the truth is, it is no sadder than other days on planet Earth. From the persecution of Falun Gong in China, to the problems in Sudan, to terrorist acts across the globe, violence is, or rather always has been, a plague on humanity.

As a whole the human race is probably viewed very dimly by other intelligent beings living in our Universe. Our inability to get along with each other, to share power, to be friendly and to cooperate with each other speaks to the reality of the human condition.

Whenever there are people who are willing to turn to violence to get what they want, you will see other people become the victim of that violence. Some of those will retaliate, if they are able.

As a whole there is slim hope for the human race to evolve into a peace loving and tolerant culture. It appears that there will always be those who will resort to base means to achieve their end goals. There is no escape from this truth that I can see.

As a whole there may not be a any long lasting solutions, but as individuals, real change can occur. By learning from the devastating consequences of violence and the cost inflicted upon those receiving the violence, we can personally resolve to refrain from such behavior ourselves, as individuals.

But then, what is violence? Is the definition of violence merely limited to the physical? What if you say a discouraging word, curse, insult or initiate a nasty stare at others? Are those actions not violent in nature too?

If this is true, and it could very well be, could it be just a short step from these angry states to manifesting physical violence? I recently read about a 74-year-old Japanese man who killed is wife, son, daughter-in-law and grand daughter with a hammer. Could this be the result of an accumulation of pent up anger, irritation and frustration with those around him spanning years, possibly decades?

Each one of us has an obligation to ‘tend our own garden’, as put forth in Voltaire’s Candide. If we don’t curb our violent thoughts and violent potentialities and focus on caring and loving those around us, is the outcome inevitable?

As human beings we have both violence and kindness in our nature. The only deciding factor as to which path we will take is choice. Thankfully, we have or were granted free will in regards to what choices we make.

Which path will you choose? More importantly, will you be consciously aware of that choice when you make it?

I suggest reading the book Zhuan Falun, you might find surprisingly important information in that book.

China Detains and Harms Yet Another Rights Defender

February 27, 2008 by Dave

Here is the sickening story:

https://tinyurl.com/32j3ue

When will China’s leaders wake up and learn that it is NOT ok to do things like this?

When you have a governing body that is not accountable to the people through elections – you have problems like this one.

The government of China : the Chinese Communist Party is out of control and has been for about 6 decades now.

I hope the people of China can grow enough courage to replace their government with a democracy where each person gets a vote and a say in what is going on.

The Commies slap down any dissent and horde money, power and control like the worst spoiled brat you can imagine. They care not for the common man or woman, they only seem to care about holding onto their power.

The tighter they make their grip, the more people will slip through. Eventually the hand that makes that grip is going to be removed, just like the head that controls it. The time of the Chinese Communist Party is coming to an end.

What remains is to see if they will go away peacefully and yield to the changes that must happen in China or if will they go kicking and screaming every square inch of the way.

I’m pretty sure I know which way they are going to pick. LOL, they are done. It’s just a matter of time now. Those abusers will pay a price and they won’t like paying. Many may be tried as criminals before this is over.

If I were a communist party cadre in China, I’d give up all my power and ill gotten wealth and pray that the people don’t take legal revenge on me when the reigns of rightful power are taken up.

The current Chinese government is a large mafia organization, not a government at all.

A message to your communists: Stop persecuting Falun Gong and other groups and individuals – such as those who seek justice and a better life for all Chinese people.

Chinese Influence Canadian Media

November 21, 2007 by Dave

Outrageous. Scandalous. Unreasonable.

These are the words I use to describe a Canadian National media station for censoring a documentary.

You can read the details here.

I’m shocked that the Canadian station would do this. I wonder if any money changed hands?

I guess I wouldn’t be surprised. It’s hard to imagine where else the impetus for such a horrendous act would come from.

Canadian TV – Owned by the Chinese government or at least for Hire?

Scary, crazy, and completely NOT RIGHT.

Take a look. See for yourself.

Chinese Prison – What is it Like?

November 13, 2007 by Dave

Want to know what life is like in a Chinese prison?

Here is the scoop.

It makes me sad to read such things. For the innocent people, like Falun Gong practitioners, it seems even more tragic.

Imagine being beaten, tortured and treated like a criminal simply for practicing meditation.

Little more can be expected from the Chinese Communist Party I guess.

Perhaps one day, China will become a free land where people can choose their own belief system.

The chances of this happening any time soon, seem dim.

Aqua Dots – The Chinese Revenge?

November 9, 2007 by Dave

Aqua Dots – Now a buzz word around America and Australia and probably other places too. They are made in China.

Whether it is the toy designers fault or the fault of Chinese manufacturers makes little difference. Aqua Dots are a danger to kids.

They can even put them into a coma.

To be sure, the Chinese do NOT have the kind of regulations and testing that we have here in this country. In large part that stems from the fact that the value of human life isn’t held in quite as high of a regard as it is here in the West.

The ruling group in China is the Chinese Communist Party. They have very little concern over human rights. And why should they? They aren’t accountable to the public through elections.

Besides the CCP (as they are called) has a very large and extensive history of abusing Human Rights. You can read more about that at this FREE website that has chronicled their history. It is called The Nine Commentaries.

You can reach the site at https://ninecommentaries.com

Go check it out. If we are going to consume Chinese goods, we really need to know what the Chinese government is all about – wouldn’t you agree?

Warm Regards,

China Upset by US Awarding Gold Medal to Dalai Lama

October 18, 2007 by Dave

Bravo to the United States Congress for delivering the Gold Medal to The 14th Dalai Lama.

In the 1950s the Chinese Communist Party sent an army in to take over the region of Tibet.

Today, the Chinese claim that Tibet is a part of China.

The Chinese also claim that Taiwan is part of China. This is something that the Taiwanese vigorously dispute and rightly so.

Many people in Taiwan are the descendants of those who were forced to flee mainland China while the communist party was busy killing people who had money or were free thinkers or believed in freedom over communism.

The people of Tibet should be free to choose their own future. The people of Taiwan should also enjoy that freedom.

What I can tell you for sure is that there are severe human rights violations going on in China today, right now. This has to stop.

Here is some evidence for you to consider: https://faluninfo.net

The history of the Chinese Communist Party is available for review at
https://ninecommentaries.com

I hope the Chinese communists will change their ways – they sure are hurting an awful lot of people to maintain control. It doesn’t have to be that way.

Olympics in China

October 17, 2007 by Dave

Here is a satirical article about proposed Olympic demonstration events in China.

The casual reader may want to dismiss these proposed games as extreme exaggeration of the truth.

UNFORTUNATELY, these proposed games accurately reflect the reality of what is going on in China today.

Read them and weep for the suffering inflicted on innocent people and the rest of the world by the Chinese Communist Party.

To read more about the history of the Chinese Communist Party, read the nine commentaries.

https://ninecommentaries.com

You also will be sad when you realize the true nature of those who currently run China.

Good luck, be prepared to be sickened.

Chinese Police Kill Another Peaceful Meditator

October 16, 2007 by Dave

Sadly, Stories like these are the norm for China and not the exception.

Of course, if you are in China, you are not likely to get to hear these tales of woe.

Here is the story:

https://www.faluninfo.net/downloads/FDI_Press/FDI-071016-FA.htm

It’s time for the Chinese government to end its persecution of Falun Gong and all other non-violent peaceful groups such as Christians and Buddhists and pro-human rights groups as well as the citizens who come to Beijing to appeal to the government for wrongs done to them by the government – they to are persecuted for practicing their constitutional right to appeal.

What? think I’m kidding? Not a chance. Take a look at the history of the Chinese Communist Party and you’ll see for yourself what a gang of hoodlums they are. You can read about them here:

Be prepared to be outraged……
