It seems to me that many people that advocate the legalization of marijuana are users themselves. Otherwise, why would they care?
So, I understand the motivation that many have towards making it legal.
During several conversations, you will hear statements such as, “Marijuana is NOT a stepping stone to stronger drugs or narcotics.”
You will also hear arguments that marijuana use never leads to violence.
Turns out that last statement is completely FALSE.
Just read an article about a 34 year old farmer in Vermont who was busted for smoking pot.
So, what does he do? He takes a big tractor and crushes 6 police cruisers because he was angry about being arrested for pot smoking.
There you have it. There is proof that marijuana does indeed lead to violence. Reference article

So, what are your thoughts?
What are your reasons for making it legal or keeping it illegal?
Is pot a dangerous drug to mess around with?
Does marijuana use lead to stronger drug use?
Does pot use lead to violence?
Are we better off keeping this drug illegal or making it legal?
