April 20, 2007 by Dave

Wouldn’t that be a nice little passive income stream? It sure would be.

Have a list, imagine your new revenue stream appearing overnight?

Don’t have a list yet? Not to worry, you can market from your blog or website.

So go sign up now, It is FREE and you have nothing to lose. And perhaps you will gain a whole lot.

Tell A Friend Script

February 28, 2007 by Dave

Sorry, this viral friend adder is no longer available.  But if you know where to get one, leave a comment below

It’s great to have a ‘tell a friend script’ on your site to take advantage of viral marketing. And now you can get one for free.

This is no ordinary ‘tell a friend script’.

How many times have you been to a web page that you knew had the perfect information that your friend would be interested in.

A tell a friend script makes it easy for your site visitors to tell their friends about your page.

You know how it goes, you go to CNN or some other site and you see an article you want to send to your buddy on a topic that you were both discussing just the other day.

tellafriend

It is so easy to just hit that button, enter your friends email address and away it goes…..

Now you can have something like that on your site.

But this is no ordinary ‘tell a friend script’.

It has extra features, such as:

Offer a free gift for referring a specific number of friends. You choose the number of friends required to get the free gift.

Track the number of people who use your form to tell their friends, and the number of total friend emails sent.

Direct your visitors to any web page you want after successfully completing the form.

The sender receives a confirmation email after they submit your form, letting them know it was successful.

Professional HTML design with ‘cool’ form elements and mouseover effects.

It’s free, might as well get it and put it to work for you. The marketing effect is a viral one. You can get many people to market your product or service for you almost effortlessly.

It can be like a ripple in a pond. As it moves outward from the center, it touches more and more people with your message.

Sorry, this viral friend adder is no longer available.  But if you know where to get one, leave a comment below

Day Job Killer

February 6, 2007 by Dave

money pictureChris McNeeny has just launched his new information product called Day Job Killer. Affiliate marketers might find great interest in this latest book. (for the cutting edge tactics)

One of the best parts about affiliate marketing is that there is no need to stock product or worry about collecting the money or handling customer complaints. Yet, you can still make money from helping the distributor of the actual product.

You can make money just referring a product to people who would be interested in the product. You earn a commission when someone buys on your recommendation. (basic info for some – I know)

How do you get your recommendation in front of the eyes of as many people as possible? That is what successful affiliate marketing is all about.

If you have been around affiliate marketing for any length of time then you have heard of Chris before. He is the author of Affiliate Project X, which I personally have a copy of.

centsIf you want to know how people actually profit from PPC (pay per click) advertising, Day Job Killer might be the book that you want.

Many people have lost small fortunes on PPC advertising. I’m not that big of a fan myself. However, I know enough to realize that you need some serious understanding about how to make it work.

While Day Job Killer may have the latest and greatest techniques that Chris has solicited from the best affiliate marketers he could find, you still may need to know the basics. If you are in that boat, even Chris recommends Google Cash. Another product and affiliate marketer also said he learned a lot from Google Cash and had given up on PPC marketing before reading it. He now claims to do well with PPC.

money picture

One other thing to consider. Since I personally own Project X, I know there is a technique in there that doesn’t involve pay per click advertising. It is a technique that will cost you time but not money. So If you don’t want to use PPC to market, this method which he calls ‘the work horse’ method might be what you are after.

So what do you do from here? A beginner at PPC advertising will probably want Google Cash.

A person experienced at PPC marketing may want to get Day Job Killer to be exposed to the latest techniques. Such a person would also want to consider affiliate project X which has been updated with over 70 pages.

If you don’t want to do PPC, perhaps Project X would be best for the method it teaches called, “the work horse method”. (that method does not use PPC advertising)

In any case, if you are an affiliate marketer then these three books can provide a lot of useful ideas and methods that might just be able to help you find the success you would like to have or take your current success to higher levels.

If you are not interested in PPC marketing at all, then you could probably safely skip all three of this books except for the possible exception of Project X which has the ‘work horse method’.

Can the world be yours? Probably not, But maybe you could earn more. Taking is out, but earning honestly is not a problem.

Herbal Remedies Affiliate Program

December 9, 2006 by Dave

echinaceaAre you really into natural, herbal remedies and supplements?

If so, you might want to consider writing about your knowledge and making money at the same time.

For example you can sign up for this herbal remedy affiliate program and make money writing about herbal supplements.

garlic

Or you could write about natural healing and do the same thing.

If you have a bent to write about herbs and what they can do to heal yerba-mansathe body, this program perfectly complements you and I can see no reason why you wouldn’t want to make a few extra dollars at the same time.

Besides, whatever you write about you tend to learn even more on that particular subject.

You could write and educate yourself as well as your readers at the same time.

What if you don’t want to write and you would just like to sell products? Can this still work for you?

You could build a catalog of just pictures and short descriptions of the herbal products and link directly to a shopping cart, where you will earn a commission on the sale of each product.

handful of herba

shipping-prepSomeone else will handle the billing, shipping and returns. They ship to almost anywhere in the world. You can just wait for your check to come in which can be delivered directly to your pay pal account.

Not a bad way to earn some extra cash. You can learn more about this loose-herbalherbal remedy affiliate program and find out for yourself whether this is something you would be interested in or not.

Affiliate Project X – For Suckers?

October 26, 2006 by Dave

Yup, “what a flashy sales page”. It gets you all excited and hyped up about…. the possibility of making a fantastic living on the Internet, more than your day job will ever pay. I thought, “here we go again”.

I’ve spent thousands on Internet Marketing Guru products. They all left me dissatisfied. Seems like none of them ever give you the big picture and the REAL steps you have to take to be an Internet winner.

Honestly, there are a couple of things that I don’t like about Project X. It is too short for one. It’s only 55 pages. What I do like about it though is that I actually learned a couple of techniques that I haven’t heard or been taught in any other guru products anywhere else.

Affiliate Project X consists of four techniques the author claims to have used to give himself big paychecks through click bank. Unlike some people, he actually shows off his paychecks on his website.

Technique three is the one I like because it doesn’t cost you anything except for a little hard work. I’m all for that, because I’m tired of spending money on every scheme that comes down the pike. I don’t mind working hard if I know or actually believe I’m going to get paid.

I learned a lot from reading the other techniques as well in Project Affiliate X. There are some really neat tricks there. If you can get a check from click bank like some of the author’s checks, it would be worth it.

Like I said before, I’m not afraid of working hard so long as I know that I’m working at something that I can reasonably expect to have success at. Nothing is worse than working hard at something that doesn’t pay in the end.

That’s why I think it might be worth the time to read and learn from affiliate project X.

Particularly if you are going to use PPC advertising as some of the techniques rely upon, you should be aware of how much you are spending on your bids. Monitor that closely.

So is affiliate project X for suckers? Possibly, if you aren’t willing to work a bit. If you are, it could be worth it to read and learn from.

With the money back guarantee (90 days through Click Bank) you can’t go wrong by giving it a try.

You’ll know if it is going to work for you or not by then. If not, simply contact CB and ask for a refund.  When you think about it like that, there is no downside.

Read more about  Affiliate Project X

I’ll say good bye for now.

Paydotcom

If you are a merchant (or soon to be one) with a product to sell and you want to run an affiliate program, why not do it the easy way?

Let someone else handle the affiliate software, leaving you free to market / promote your product(s).

The’ll also maintain a list of your affiliate marketers so that you can email them with updates.

What could be more convenient?

If you just want to sell other peoples’ products as an affiliate you can do that too!

They have plenty of products that you can immediately start promoting and making additional revenue on!

Check ’em out

Affiliate program Review

August 24, 2006 by Dave

I’ve been in this affiliate program for a couple of years now.

This program is for selling herbal remedies for humans and pets:

What I like:

It offers 25% on first tier sales.

Redsidual commissions – This is the kicker for me. The possibility of continuing to earn from the same customer for life is very tantalizing to me.

5% on second tier sales. – getting paid on others’ efforts is a wealth building principle.

They ship to (almost) anywhere in the world. You can have international customers. Sales are not limited ot just the United States.

And of course, as an affiliate you stock zero product and don’t do customer service!

Let me know what affiliate programs you like and why. (Comment below)

Affiliate programs

March 23, 2006 by Dave

There are two affiliate programs that I currently receive regular payments from. I have tried many affiliate programs and frankly these are the two that I see consistent payments from. Others just don’t compare.

1. Bad Breath Program

2. Herbal Remedy program

I have worked with a number of affiliate programs and the above two stand out and pay me continuously. Other affiliate programs have yielded very little results or none at all.

So if you are looking for good affiliate programs that you can work, the above two are it.

Of course there are other good affiliate programs out there, but the above two are the only ones I feel comfortable recommending when it comes to good, solid affiliate programs.

How do I determine a good affiliate program? – I find that an affiliate program should pay out at least one sale for every one hundred people I send there. There are some programs that I have sent thousands of people to with no sales. There is something wrong when that happens. When looking for a good affiliate program one or more sales per hundred of people sent is what you are looking for.

If the affiliate program cannot deliver that, I cannot classify it as a good affiliate program from my perspective.

Hope that helps. visit the two affiliate programs above, I feel comfortable designating them as ‘good’ affiliate programs.

Happy affiliate marketing!

How do You Know When an Affiliate Program may Be Cheating the Affiliates?

November 20, 2005 by Dave

How do You Know When an Affiliate Program may Be Cheating the Affiliates?

Answer: Perhaps you’ll begin to wonder when you get a letter like this one:

David,

While I appreciate your questions and concerns, and definitely will address each of them, I would appreciate it if you would not use the affiliate forum to question the integrity of our program – that simply will not be tolerated.

I, and the [program name removed] team, have absolutely NO problem addressing concerns – and trying to make this the BEST affiliate program available – but a forum is not the place to do it. Not every affiliate understands what is even being discussed and creating mistrust within the program is not the way to get issues you feel important addressed.

You guess correctly, I’ve been an affiliate marketer for many years (almost 10 now) and I have learned that when you, as a marketer, feel a program has issues that need addressed, you contact them via email and succinctly outline your ideas and concerns. Posting that type of thing on a forum is a last resort for unresponsive affiliate programs. You didn’t even give us a chance to respond because you didn’t attempt to contact us except via a public forum post.

I cannot tell you that all of your ideas will be taken as policy. I can tell you that decisions will be made with thought and with the best business interests of [program name removed] AND our affiliates in mind. And, that is the most *any* legitimate affiliate program can ever promise you. :o)

If you would please send me via email what you see as issues with the program, I can assure you that I will get it in front of the appropriate folks at [program name removed] and that it will be dealt with as fairly and as quickly as possible.

But, in the future, if you want to point out ‘loop holes’ with the program, I would appreciate it if you would do it via email and not involve all of our affiliates. That is simply good netiquette :o)

Warm regards,
