Have you ever wondered what the side effects of Ritalin, a.k.a. Methylphenidate are?
There is a place where you can find a list of Ritalin side effects. There are actually 3 lists. One for mild effects, one for severe effects and one for the symptoms of an overdose.
As a side note, you can get a list of side effects for any medication when you pick it up at the pharmacy.
The pharmacist should be more than willing to print a list out for you.
Ritalin is a drug that is being prescribed (some say over prescribed) for kids that have been ‘diagnosed’ with ADHD.
Supposedly they don’t ‘settle down’ as easily as other kids their age.
I wonder if medication is the best answer? I’ve even heard that some states mandate that children diagnosed with ADHD not be allowed in the classroom unless they are medicated.
Here is that list of side effects again.
It seems that labels can cause trouble, even for little children.
Keep up the good fight.
