There appears to be quite a bit of debate about the phenomenon known as ‘global warming’. Does it exist or does it not exist?

As in many great debates there appears to be multiple opinions about the issue. A few years ago, Al Gore won a Nobel Peace Prize for his work (film) on global warming. Yet, many scientists have come out to say there is no evidence of global warming. In fact, the prestigious NASA, with its vast array of intellectual capital and high caliber scientists seems to be saying there is no evidence of it.

Then the scandal broke. A flurry of emails were ‘stolen’ and made public. The emails seemed to indicate that someone or some group of people is trying very hard to make a real scientific case for global warming. The emails seemed to show that they were overreaching the normal parameters of real science to come to their ‘conclusion’ and convince others too.

Some people today are too young to remember, including myself, but it has been said that thirty years ago, we were being told that we were headed for an ice age. Now, suddenly we have been alerted that the polar caps are melting, that sea levels will rise and that there will be resultant disaster – unless we spend a lot of money to fix the problem now.

Those watching the debate say that ‘fixing’ the problem means sending an awful lot of money to third world countries. Meanwhile, some of the bigger industrialized countries talk about curbing their emissions, but do not actually appear to be willing to do so. Seems that those countries are not fully convinced that global warming exists or is a problem. If they were convinced, would they not get busy solving the problem?

There appears to be doubt. For the proponents of the global warming phenomenon, it does appear that providing some very definitive proof would benefit them in getting these ‘hold out’ nations to take action.

I am not taking sides within this article. However, I know that there are many people who are very passionate about their position on global warming. You tell me. Is global warming a real phenomenon or not? Why do you think that it is or is not?

Most of us assume on the fact that the rise in electricity bill is due to the vast number of electrical items present at home. But the truth is that the electricity bill is not directly connected or affected due to the number of gadgets, but by the way one uses them.

Take a step forward to avoid using those typical items regularly that consumes lot of power -
• The washing machine should be used only when there is a bucket full of clothes.
• The geyser should not be kept on for maximum amount of time.
• The air-conditioner should be kept at minimum high or low temperature.
• Take note to switch off the computer monitor when not in use. It consumes maximum power and it just takes a second to switch it again.

I was just listening to the radio and learned that gas is currently selling for about $2.55 per gallon in Mexico.

This is apparently prompting some people in the United States to go south of the border to get their gas.

Unfortunately, most of us don’t live close enough to do that. But, wouldn’t it be great if we could?

One man on the radio had modified his F150 to carry 180 Gallons of gas! Wow. He said he saved
about $600 per month doing this. Wow, that is quite a savings.

Ok, well, I don’t live anywhere close to the Mexican border.

Water Fueled Cars; Are They the Answer to Rising Gasoline Prices? By Mick Legg

With the ever increasing prices of gasoline and with very little sign of improvement, everybody is looking for either alternative fuels, the best gas mileage cars on the market, or ways to make gas mileage improvements to their existing vehicle. So are these so called water fueled cars a viable option? And just what are they? And how do they work?

The concept of water fueled cars is not a new one. The technology has been around for some time, but for one reason or another it has never been fully developed until now. But with the rising fuel crisis this technology has been going through a resurrection, and it seems to be catching on in a big way.

You will not be able to run your car on water alone so forget the idea of filling up your gas tank with a hose-pipe from your house. You will still have to put gas in your fuel tank. What this system does is (with the aid of a simple kit that can be easily and cheaply put together for around $150) to use HHO gas to increase the efficiency of your engine, to give you gas mileage improvements of between 30 to 50%.

Here’s how it works. This kit is basically a small hydrogen generator for cars. It generates HHO from a small reservoir of water (which is located next to or near your engine) with the aid of a tiny amount of electricity from your car battery. This HHO gas is then mixed with the regular gas from your fuel tank and fed into your engine in the usual way. This mixture burns much more efficiently and cleanly, giving you better performance, more power and huge gas mileage improvements.

The good thing about a hydrogen generator for cars, or HHO fuel kits are that they can be put together cheaply and easily, with little or no modification needed to your engine. They will work on almost any make and model of car or truck and are completely reversible, so are easily removed if you ever wanted to take it out for any reason.

So the advantages of these water fueled cars are,

1) Not only do they give you great gas mileage improvements they also burn cleaner, eliminating harmful exhaust emissions that pollute the atmosphere.

2) They greatly increase your engine power and performance giving you a smoother more positive ride.

3) With the cleaner burning fuel it will prolong the life of your engine and also cut down on repair bills, saving you even more money.

4) They reduce the operating temperature of your engine, cutting down on the waste heat being thrown into the environment.

5) They help to reduce carbon deposits in your engine and prevent further build up.

So to sum up. The use of water fueled cars will not only give you great gas mileage improvements making your car one of the best gas mileage cars around and saving you a fortune at the gas pumps, you will also be doing your bit to help the environment by cutting down the pollution that is causing global warming.
