Madness. Of course a cat is a predator. Only an idiot would think otherwise.

No different to a dog, which of course is also a predator.

Predators tend to be more intelligent than prey species (which survive by reproducing in larger numbers). It therefore stands to reason that the two most popular house pets are those that combine manageable size with sufficient intelligence to be trained — and are also predatory species.

Cats are predators at heart. The fact that they let us pet them from time to time is just a fringe benefit. I find small creatures around my house from time to time. Gifts from my neighbors cat.

this is the most ridiculous post i have read about cats in my life.
“If the house cat weighed 100 lbs or so, that cute adorable fluffy ball on your couch might be eyeing you as a potential food source!”
EVERYONE knows that is not true.

do your research first before you write untrue things like this.

My wife loves cats but and I’m not a big fan because of the cat little box/urine smell. Another thing is my Dad is really allergic to cats so we could never get one if we want him to visit.

Yes, I think that animals have a great place on a farm where they serve a useful purpose such as keeping the snakes and mice down. When dogs are used for protection, it is also a good use for them..

they are great for farms though. keep snakes and mice down. My wife has a cat that we had declawed and fixed (probably one of the worst names for a procedure ever, shouldn’t it be broken) that is a true house cat. Meaner than the ones with claws.

Both, we have 2 and love them for what they are! Cats!!! Remember where there roots come from, there big cat cousins who are predators because thats how they eat and cute because, let’s face it, they ARE Love to all cat people. purrrrrrr…
