Global Warming: Fact or Fiction – What Do YOU Say?
There appears to be quite a bit of debate about the phenomenon known as ‘global warming’. Does it exist or does it not exist?
As in many great debates there appears to be multiple opinions about the issue. A few years ago, Al Gore won a Nobel Peace Prize for his work (film) on global warming. Yet, many scientists have come out to say there is no evidence of global warming. In fact, the prestigious NASA, with its vast array of intellectual capital and high caliber scientists seems to be saying there is no evidence of it.
Then the scandal broke. A flurry of emails were ‘stolen’ and made public. The emails seemed to indicate that someone or some group of people is trying very hard to make a real scientific case for global warming. The emails seemed to show that they were overreaching the normal parameters of real science to come to their ‘conclusion’ and convince others too.
Some people today are too young to remember, including myself, but it has been said that thirty years ago, we were being told that we were headed for an ice age. Now, suddenly we have been alerted that the polar caps are melting, that sea levels will rise and that there will be resultant disaster – unless we spend a lot of money to fix the problem now.
Those watching the debate say that ‘fixing’ the problem means sending an awful lot of money to third world countries. Meanwhile, some of the bigger industrialized countries talk about curbing their emissions, but do not actually appear to be willing to do so. Seems that those countries are not fully convinced that global warming exists or is a problem. If they were convinced, would they not get busy solving the problem?
There appears to be doubt. For the proponents of the global warming phenomenon, it does appear that providing some very definitive proof would benefit them in getting these ‘hold out’ nations to take action.
I am not taking sides within this article. However, I know that there are many people who are very passionate about their position on global warming. You tell me. Is global warming a real phenomenon or not? Why do you think that it is or is not?

To say that global warming is a myth is the worst crime agaisnt humanity.Even worse then the holocaust.We are destroying this earth for future generations

Hi Brian – noticed you were from NZ.
Most Americans do not believe there is such a crisis going on.
However, that does not include me. My thought is that we need more conclusive information. Just a scant 30 years ago, we were told that we were headed for an ice age – that apparently hasn’t happened either.
So when you are talking about climate change – it is difficult for anyone to have conclusive evidence.
Add on to that the fact that those ‘scientists’ from Britain were apparently trying to skew the data in favor of the global warming proponents and you
really, really have to question the validity of this global warming thing.
The oldest trick in the book for rulers is to create a scare that doesn’t actually exist in an attempt to gain more power and / or money.
This is the fear that many Americans have.
It appears that Americans are not yet ‘sold’ on the idea of global warming.

Wake up people! Are you all so blind to actual believe the “Global Warming crap”. This is exactly why the world elite get away with what they do, because people like you walk around with blinders on. Do some research, did you actually see the emails that where stolen? Pretty obvious “they” where hiding the TRUTH. Did you watch any of Jesse Ventura’s shows on TruTV about global warming?
Do you ever ask yourself WHY they want you to believe in Global Warming? Think about it, to CONTROL and TAX all NEW energy related products and services that “they” will produce to control carbon emmissions.
Ok, of course we as men and women should and DO everything we can to help our environment and our world for the future generations, that does not mean we have to be ignorant and believe everything “they” tell us. Have they ever lied to us before???
Do you KNOW (do some research) that the Earth goes through cold and WARM cycles about every 12 years and that we are currently in a WARM cycle? And oh by the way, Al Gore is one of the biggest investors and share holders in a company that will produce carbon controlling software to be sold to companies? He will make MILLIONS of dollars from it. Put the pieces together, take your head out of the sand and WAKE UP or put your rose colored glasses back on and continue to be there slaves. I pray to God this helps you.

Thanks for your thoughtful response. I hope that people will at least consider that possibility of what you are saying. It is difficult to know what is going on, but the emails are pretty strong evidence. Seems that the media has tried to ignore those emails a bit. Would like to hear more about them…
Still not taking sides, but this is getting very interesting…

Hi readers posters global dwellers one n’all – you betcha it will all lead to be taxed on breathing – there’s nothing as consistent than the prediction of climate change – do something every day to take good care of our wonderful planet its the only place we as people can live? – at least right now!
