Don’t Buy Stuff just because it sounds good…

I seldom put my neck out for any products because most of these Internet marketing products (and services) are total garbage. I’ve wasted boat loads of money on various Internet marketing schemes, products, memberships and services, and most are not worth what people are charging.

Return on investment is important if you are running a business. So, you have to try not to waste any money. Just last month, I was suckered into a program that cost me $1200 bucks. They were supposed to do a lot of work for that $1200. I’m not sure they have. The reports they were supposed to produce documenting their work have not shown up yet. I also have not seen any results in terms of the only thing that matters : increased sales. My level of sales has remained about the same. Any slight increase may be due to work I’ve done myself.

Arrrgghhh. It is So frustrating. Why can’t these people be honest about their products and services? Most are total garbage. If you have bought any of these things you know exactly what I mean.

As I said before, I’ve tried a boatload of this nonsense and I’ve only found a couple to be of any worth.

Next time someone offers you a product or an SEO service or a conversion improvement service and they want to charge you $1200 or $2000 – ask yourself, “If this service or product worked so well, why would they need to charge so much”. Why do they have so FEW customers that they have to charge that much money for their product or service?

Could it be that they are trying to make as much money as quickly as they possibly can before people figure them out and quit their membership site or their monthly charges?

The answer, in my opinion, is obvious.

I’ve bought thousands of dollars in products and services over the Internet over the last 6.5 (almost 7) years. The information simply, in the end, is not worth that much money. Sign up for guru lists and read between the lines -you will learn a lot. Don’t buy anything. Read their freebie pdfs, watch their videos, take advantage of all of their free information. But DO NOT buy anything.

—- They might get mad at me. But you know what? I’m tired of getting ripped off!!!!

Have you received any phone calls for $5000 packages for ‘personalized’ coaching that doesn’t even come from the ‘named’ guru himself? Here is what I told them. I’ll just come to your office and you can show me everything in person. They declined that offer. I’m not surprised. Once they prequalify you (find out if you have a credit card that you are willing to charge 5K for) they send you over to Mr. Closer who knows all of the psychological triggers.

LOL. It’s sickening really.

Ok. I’ve gone on for a while now. I just want to warn you – don’t buy stuff just because it sounds good.

As I mentioned before, I’ve tested out a bunch of stuff and the number of things that work on the Internet is extremely small! Extremely so.

Let the Buyer Be Ware!
