Hi Jessica,

Sounds like you are already starting to figure out that it is NOT the end of the world and in the end, might not be that big of a deal at all. Keep going and stay positive!

At least you are married and won\'t have to struggle with telling someone you just met about it.
(which everyone should do by the way - it\'s not right to hide this from a loved one)

There is a lot of good information on herpes out there. I currently have a book called \"Never an Outbreak\" which I think is pretty good. You can find it on Amazon. This book explains what people have done to stop outbreaks. It covers specific products that contain oxygen to how your diet can help control herpes.

I hope it is useful to you and others who are struggling. If you can prevent outbreaks, it may not affect your life much at all!

I have been with my husband, ONLY my husband for four years. We are a committed and caring couple. I was just diagnosed with herpes this week. My heart sank. My husband has not been unfaithful nor have I. This sucks. But hey...what can you do? You accept the fact and move on. I am going to a support group next week and am excited to be able to ask some questions.
